New story from Nia Stephens, "Every Angel is Terrifying", up in the latest issue of Strange Horizons, along with some other good stuff!

In the beautiful and satisfying story Every Angel is Terrifying, now up at Strange Horizons, Nia Stephens' narrator recites a litany of angels, the Angel of Lamentation, the Angel of Yesterdays, the Angel of Kinship, the Angel of Centuries, the Angel of Categories against the background of a friend (Reece) and artist's life and death. Heartbreaking and evocative prose that takes on Kabbalistic nuances.

Interesting and informative interview with Doug Lain conducted by Mahesh Raj Mohan including a picture of Lain looking mildly perturbed in someone's backyard.

Stormland, by Elizabeth Barrette, is a notable and evocative poem that I am loathe to describe lest I impinge on its delicate but certain impact.

The Art Gallery featuring Ingrid Sundberg is amazing and lovely, and well worth browsing.

The issue includes a link to the 2005 Reader's Choice Awards.
