» Kayowin_14 - writing, one piece or many...

It is definitely wiser to write the whole thing through, all at once. This way it is easier to see if something will fit or not. When it is viewed by itself, a single chapter may contain many things that seem beside the point and irrelevant, leaving you to explain to critics why it is there many times. But when the whole book is pieced together, things seem less loose and there is more flow. Chapters themselves tend to suddenly drop. Viewed seperately, this may add to confusion.
I have a wierd form of writing though. On the book series I am concentrating the most, I don't even seperate it into chapters until after I have writen it. I even waited till after I had writen the next book to go back and chapter form it.
But whatever method works best for the writer is what should be used.
